Our office is located upstairs on the corner of Meda Avenue and Vista Bonita Street, in the large two story building just east of T.Philips Alehouse and Grill. There is parking available on the street as well as in the large lot adjacent to the building. In addition to stairs, there is an elevator on the north end of the building.
The Firm
We are a full litigation law firm, serving clients both in and out of the courthouse in a variety of practice areas. We're good, and we're fast. Our motto is it's:

This means we recognize that you are coming to us for help achieving your goals. We believe in delivering honest advice, which means that the customer is not always right. If you do not value truth and integrity, then we are probably not a good fit for you. We take time to educate and explain things, even if we're not being paid to do so. Simply put, our clients are equipped.
We believe zealous representation requires follow-through, honest advice, tough advocacy, and exceptional strategy. So we do that. We set ourselves apart by leveraging technologically advanced computer systems to manage case files, conduct discovery, and to deliver the kind of powerful and efficient service that discerning clients demand.
We are one of the few firms on the cutting edge of the paperless environment movement for law offices. The law still requires some litigation and estate planning documents to be written down and signed on paper. Digital documents translates to efficient recall of important information in a timely manner. Efficiency means you pay less and get more.
Customer Service
Merrill designs his practice to be client-centric. All clients receive Merrill’s personal mobile phone number. He strives to maximize time with clients and makes them feel understood and comfortable in what is sometimes a difficult situation. For example, all clients ushered into Merrill’s office are provided a comfy couch to sit on and offered a beverage on which to sip. Actually, Merrill’s office was designed with the client in mind. Gone are the days when clients had to tolerate being looked down upon and spoken to in a condescending tone by their attorney from behind a broad oak desk. Instead, Merrill’s office is arranged around a coffee table. You will not find another boutique law firm with as much charm and care for clients as what is found in the team at the Law Office of Merrill A. Hanson. We add color to a profession that is otherwise filled with a lot of black and white (and gray).
